The Blessed Month Of Dhul Hijjah And Benefits Of Hijama Cupping.

Assalamualaikum,

The blessed month of Dhul Hijjah has started, The Month Of Hajj.

Fasting and gaining spiritual height is highly recommended in this month.

This sacred month also contains the best days of the year.

Did you know Hijama cupping is permissible for a person in the state of Ihraam?

Among the proofs for this is the following narration.

Narrated by Ibn Abbas;

“The Prophet (PBUH) was treated with Cupping on his head, while he was in Ihraam, due to migraine that he had.”

If you’re going on the annual Hajj pilgrimage, the majority of your time will be spent in prayer and supplication.

Hijama Cupping does not affect the validity of Hajj or Umrah. If needed, it should be performed as a Sunnah to get health benefits and reward, Insha Allah.

On the first day of the Hajj, pilgrims perform Tawaf, next they run between the hills of Safa and Marwah seven times.

Pilgrims travel from Makkah to Mina to spend the first night of the Hajj. The next morning they travel on to the plain of Arafat, where they stand on or near the Mount of Mercy from noon until dusk, praising Allah, asking for repentance.

Pilgrims spend the second night at Muzdalifah. The next important step is performing Qurbani. At the end of the pilgrimage, Muslims celebrate the festival of Eid ul-Adha

Hajj is an ibadah of extreme physical exertion. In order to be ready for this extreme hard work, one should get Hijama done beforehand. So, once you begin your sacred journey, you are completely healthy.

Even when you are at the pilgrimage or once you return and feel fatigue or body pains or weak energy levels, go for Hijama Cupping Therapy.

Hijama increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.

Getting Hijama done before going for Umrah or Hajj can be really beneficial for improving the immune system. In order to gain physical strength and remain healthy. Wet cupping removes harmful substances and toxins from the body to promote healing.

But if for some reason you were not able to book your Hijama session before taking your flight, book your Hijama session once back home and reap the benefits.

Hijama helps resolve chronic muscle tightness and pain faster. Cupping releases anxiety. So before beginning with your Hajj or Umrah, during the journey or once you are back, book yourself with a HN Certified Hijama Practitioner, for a Full Body Detox.

However, even if you’re not travelling to Makkah this year, you can still earn spiritual rewards from the comfort of your own home, Insha Allah.

There are certain times of year in which even small acts of worship are rewarded in abundance. These periods of the year are in reality gifts from Allah (swt) that He has given to us. And from those blessed times in which worship is abundantly and hugely rewarded are the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah.

Let’s begin with a simple yet effective action – increasing your dhikr.

In Makkah, the Talbiyah will be on every pilgrim’s tongue throughout the day and night; those at home have also been commanded to praise Allah constantly in these ten days.

You can also make this easy dhikr after your five daily prayers – Subhan-Allah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times.

These simple measures will ensure you are remembering Allah throughout the day and benefitting from the blessings of Dhul Hijjah.

Reciting Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Glory be to Allah and praise Him) one hundred times a day will wipe away sins – no matter how burdensome they are, Insha Allah.

Lets make these easy sunnahs a part of our life this Dhul Hijjah.

May Allah accept our efforts and endeavours, Ameen.
