Assalamualaikum,

Have you started with a severe sudden joint pain?

Is the affected area hot and swollen?

Has the joint gone red, itchy and extremely painful?

Do you feel sick and can not eat?

Are you suffering from fever because of pain?

Is your movement restricted because of a particular joint?

Is your Uric acid high?

These might be symptoms of Gout.

Do not ignore these.

Get diagnosed and consult a Certified Hijama Practitioner.

Gout is a common form of inflammatory arthritis that is very painful. It usually affects one joint at a time (often the big toe joint). There are times when symptoms get worse, known as flares, and times when there are no symptoms, known as remission.

Hijama Cupping Therapy can help eradicate the symptoms of Gout.

Hijama Nation recommends the following Hijama points for Gout on foot.

Hijama cupping can improve blood circulation in the affected area and reduce stagnation and pain.

If client does not allow hijama on the spot because of severe pain, hijama can be performed around the area.

Lancet can be used to draw out toxic blood. Prick and then place a cup on top of the hijama point.

Hijama can flush out toxic substances from the blood, which can assist clients suffering from Gout.

Hijama Nation does recommend regular hijama sessions for gout along with positive diet and lifestyle changes.

Hijama is an excellent treatment for the pain relief and removal of excess Uric Acid due to Gout.

If you are suffering from Gout:

           Rest and raise the limb.

  • Keep the joint cool – apply an ice pack, or a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel, for up to 20 minutes at a time
  • Drink lots of water (unless a GP tells you not to)
  • Try to keep bedclothes off the affected joint at night

And  do not put pressure on the affected joint.

Try to prevent Gout from coming back. Eat healthy balanced diet, avoid being dehydrated, exercise regularly but don’t put pressure on joints etc

Similarly try to avoid sugary foods and do not eat lots of fatty foods.
