The endocrine system is a complex network of glands and organs. It uses hormones to control and coordinate your body’s metabolism, energy level, reproduction, growth and development, and response to injury, stress, and mood.

Hormones are chemicals that coordinate different functions in your body by carrying messages through your blood to your organs, skin, muscles and other tissues. These signals tell your body what to do and when to do it. Hormones are essential for life and your health.

Hormones control many different bodily processes, including:

  • Metabolism.
  • Homeostasis (constant internal balance).
  • Growth and development.
  • Sexual function.
  • Reproduction.
  • Sleep-wake cycle.

Dozens of medical conditions are caused by hormone issues. For most hormones, having too much or too little of them causes symptoms and issues with your health.

Hormonal issues may cause acne, irregular menstrual bleeding, infertility, obesity, thyroid diseases, skin tags etc

Some of the most common causes of fluctuating or imbalanced hormone levels include:

  • Stress.
  • Certain medications.
  • Steroid use.

Hijama Cupping Therapy can help treat hormonal imbalance. Hijama is a natural process to detox and flush out toxins from the body.

The negative pressure created from hijama cupping helps improve blood flow and the release of hormones (kinin, histamine, prostaglandins, serotonin, etc.), which helps to stimulate the healing process.

Hijama Nation will advise the following Hijama points to treat hormonal imbalance. Make sure you check the medical history of the client first and design a detailed Hijama treatment plan according to the client.

Hijama Cupping promotes regular flow of healthy blood throughout the body. It helps with ovulation when women do not ovulate or have anovulatory cycles. Regular hijama sessions can help relieve period cramps and irregular cycles.

Hijama Cupping strengthens Immune system and helps get rid of toxic, unhealthy blood. Cupping helps reduce blockages in tubes resulting in rejuvenating the body and improving energy flow.

Hijama Nation would advise an active healthy lifestyle for better wellbeing.

    1. Assalamualaikum,

      Head cupping is extremely beneficial.
Request your clients to shave hair from the targeted area to reap full benefits.
Hijama can be performed without shaving the hair but will be difficult and messy.
      Thanks.
